Van zelf muziek maken word je slimmer. Dit komt uit verschillende onderzoeken naar voren. Als je muziek maakt leren de linker en de rechter hersenhelft beter met elkaar samen te werken. Er ontstaan dan zelfs meer verbindingen tussen beide hersenhelften.
Je hersenen worden gestimuleerd als je piano speelt. Als je bladmuziek gebruikt moet je lezen en de juiste noten spelen. Dit vergt heel wat coördinatie. Als je daarnaast ook nog eens tegelijkertijd zingt, worden je hersenen wel heel erg actief.

Teaching piano is awylas a good idea just get a theory book together and put flyers and stuff around schools, or if you know any younger kids or family friends who are interested in learning you can awylas approach them. Another way is to try get a job in a music store often they are after people with music experience to help sell their products. You could also look around for cafes or restaurants that have live music some places might be interested in hiring you a couple of nights a week to play. If u have the resources it might be a good idea to get a demo tape together (even if its just a simple home recording) if you want to pursue this idea. And don’t forget to think about all the people you know and whether they have any contacts that might help you get a gig or a job often it comes down to who you know, not what you know. Good luck!
